Who controls your data
DRYCE is owned by the Ten of Pentacles Trust, a Pennsylvania revocable inter vivos trust. The platform is operated on the Trust's behalf by DRYCE, Inc., a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation (PA #15246981). When you use the app, your data is held by the Trust as data controller; DRYCE, Inc. acts as data processor.
What we collect
- Account data: the username you choose, an immutable DRYCE-ID phrase generated for you at signup, and the timestamp of account creation.
- Content you create: posts, replies, direct messages, and any photos, videos, or files you attach to them.
- Engagement events: when you post, reply, upvote, or message, we record the event server-side. These drive the platform's φ-governed field-state math; they never appear to you or anyone else as a per-user metric.
- Biometric verification (v1.1, future): when biometric verification ships, our verification vendor processes your government ID and a face-match. We retain only a one-way hash of the result for ban enforcement; we never receive the raw image.
What we don't collect
- No avatars. We don't ask for or store profile photos. Your identity glyph is generated from your DRYCE-ID, not from an image you upload.
- No advertising identifiers. We don't request IDFA. We don't run third-party analytics. We don't show ads.
- No tracking across apps or sites. Per Apple's App Tracking Transparency definition, DRYCE does not track.
- No location data beyond what's intrinsic to a network request (your IP at the moment of the request, used only to route the response).
How we use it
Strictly to operate the platform: deliver your posts and messages, verify you're the person who created your account, run the engagement math that distributes the treasury share according to the platform's economic model, and enforce the platform's rules.
Who we share it with
No one, except: (a) the verification vendor when biometric verification is in use; (b) infrastructure providers as ordinary processing happens (database, cloud hosting); (c) law enforcement when compelled by valid legal process. We don't sell, license, or barter your data.
Your rights
- Read: everything you've posted is visible in the app under your profile.
- Edit: change your display name, bio, and privacy settings any time in Settings.
- Delete: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Your username, display name, and bio are scrubbed; posts and messages remain so other people's threads stay intact, attributed to "deleted user". Per the platform's ban-only enforcement model, the biometric hash (when present) is retained so the same person can't immediately re-signup with a fresh alias.
Children
DRYCE is for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly create accounts for users under 21 and will delete any such account on discovery.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
